Background on Project
China Huadian was planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 1,320 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The units were permitted in 2014,[1] and construction began that year.[2][3]
The power station was completed in 2016.[4]
Expansion
China Huadian was eventually planning for an additional six units of 1,000 MW each.[1][3]
