Background
Mitsubishi UBE Cement Corporation, initially formed as UBE Industries, Ltd. in 1897, began its operations as a chemical manufacturing company.In the 1920s, UBE Industries ventured into cement production as part of the country's rapid industrialization, establishing its cement division. This division later evolved into Mitsubishi UBE Cement Corporation, which now operates as a key player in the cement industry.[1]
The Mitsubishi UBE Cement Corporation Isa Cement Plant is located in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan was established in 1955.[2]
