Background
UltraTech Cement Limited is part of the Aditya Birla group.[1] UltraTech Cement is the largest manufacturer of grey cement and ready-mix concrete (RMC) and one of the largest manufacturers of white cement in India.[2]
In 1978, industrialist BK Birla founded Mangalam Cement. The company has been functioning as a division of Century Textiles and Industries, a BK Birla Group Company, which was acquired by UltraTech Cement in 2019.[3][4]
