Uskmouth Power Limited was a subsidiary of Welsh Power until sold to Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE)in 2009 for £27m. Welsh Power had bought Oskmouth Power in 2004.[1]
The company no longer operates. However, the Uskmouth Power Station, a 363 megawatt plant located near Newport in South Wales, continues to operate as a part of SSE.[2]
