Along with West Salym Oil Field (Russia) and Vadelypskoye Oil Field (Russia), Verkhne-Salymskoye Oil Field is a part of the Salym Oil Project (Russia). Verkhne-Salymskoye Oil Field is also sometimes referred to as Upper Salym.
