Project Details

Background

Construction of the pipeline will become the first phase in developing the unified gas supply system of Eastern Siberia. The first gas is expected to reach Krasnoyarsk by the city's anniversary in 2028. Subsequently, the pipeline will become part of the Power of Siberia-2 Gas Pipeline, through which Western Siberian gas will be exported to China. In 2023, Gazprom Proyektirovaniye published a tender for archaeological research along the main gas pipeline route from the Volodino Compressor station (part of the Nizhnevartovsk-Parabel-Kuzbass Gas Pipeline) in the Tomsk Region to Irkutsk via the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The construction of the pipeline is part of the "Eastern Gas Supply System" project.[1][5]
