Along with Zapadno-Messoyakhskoye Oil and Gas Field (Russia), Vostochno-Messoyakhskoe Oil and Gas Field is a part of the Messoyakhskoe project complex.

Vostochno-Messoyakhskoe Oil and Gas Field is also sometimes referred to as East Messoyakhskoye, East Messoyakha.
