The Wahana Jetty, also known as the Sungai Cuka Special Port, is a coal loading facility located in South Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Location
Background
The Wahana Jetty is owned by PT Bayan Resources Tbk. It has a stockpile capacity of 360,000 tonnes and ship loading capacity of 3,000 tonnes per hour. A 1.8 kilometer jetty extends out into the sea, allowing Handy Size and Panamax vessels to be directly loaded at the facility.[1] The jetty primarily ships coal from the nearby WBM coal mine, operated by a subsidiary of Bayan Resources.[2] Official materials from Bayan Resources do not not list an annual capacity for the jetty. However, the WBM coal mine was expected to produce up to 1.6 million tonnes of coal in 2021, suggesting that the Wahana Jetty has annual capacity of at least that amount.[3]
