Background
In December 2018, The Warrenton River Terminal was acquired by Warrenton River Terminal, LLC, (WRT) which is a subsidiary of Robindale Energy Services, Inc.[1] The terminal has an annual capacity of 10 million short tons per annum (approximately 9.1 million metric tonnes).[2] The historic focus of the terminal has been on unit trains of coal and fertilizer transloading, but in recent years, WRT has worked to develop capabilities to handle other bulk and discrete commodities such as aggregates, salt, scrap metal, steel coils, steel slabs, pig iron, and frac sand.[3]
