Background
In January 2011 Weslpun announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Uttar Pradesh and that the plant was expected to be commissioned by 2015.[1] The plant is proposed to be built in Ghazipur district, Uttar Pradesh, India. [2] The project has been moved to Mirzapur.[3]
