Background
The proposed complex includes a cement plant, coal handling plant, coal ash handling plant, and a biomass and solar energy project.[1][2]
A July 2011 Ministry of Coal summary of proposed coal projects identifies the park as one of several Welspun proposals that are pending applications for coal allocations.[3]
AS of August 2015 the coal-fired power station has yet to receive environmental clearance.
