Background

The pipeline transports crude oil and condensate from the Saskatchewan Gathering System and truck deliveries to the Enbridge Mainline.[1]

The main receipt points are located in Alida, Steelman, Bryant, and Midale, Saskatchewan. The main delivery point is to the Enbridge Mainline near Cromer, Manitoba.[1]

The pipeline commenced operations in 1957. Prior to December 2016, the Westspur Pipeline was owned by Enbridge Pipelines (Westspur) Inc., a subsidiary of Enbridge Inc. Since 2017, Kingston Midstream Westspur Limited (formerly TEML Westspur Pipelines Limited) owns the Westspur Pipeline. At the end of 2017, assets included 511 km of pipeline with a capacity of 247,400 barrels per day (bpd).[1]
