Background
The Wilson Creek coal mine project is an open-cut coal mine proposed by Vitrinite and located 20 kilometers northwest of Glenden, North Queensland, Australia.[1] The Wilson Creek asset is held 100% by the privately-owned Australian company Vitrinite Pty Ltd, and was acquired on 30 August 2016.[1]
Vitrinite has completed 2 phases of exploratory drilling.[1] As of 2023, the project remains in the exploration stage.
