Background
The Wossingen cement plant was taken over by Lafarge Germany in 1963. The plant was subsequently modernized in 1970 and, in 2009, the dual kiln line was replaced by a single kiln line with increased efficiency. In 2015 the plant was taken over by CRH group and rebranded to Opterra.
