Background

On December 26, 2017, the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission approved Wujiang Shengze Gas Thermal power station (吴江盛泽燃机热电厂) project. [6]Construction officially began on November 2, 2020. [7] Unit 1 commenced operation on August 20, 2023, and in September 2023, both units officially started power generation operations.[8]
