Wujing-2 power station (申能吴泾第二发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1200-megawatts (MW) in Longwu Road, Minhang, Shanghai, China. It is also known as 吴泾发电厂8期.

Background
The operating company for this plant was established in Nov 1999 by Shenergy Co and Shanghai Electric Power. Two 600 MW subcritical units were built for a total investment of 6.95 billion yuan. Construction began in April 1997 and Units 1 & 2 were completed in 2002.[1]
