Background on Project

According to a report by World Resources Institute, Sichuan Beineng is planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 1,200 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

However, there appear to be no other public information sources of the proposed power station, and as of 2014 Sichuan Beineng describes itself as mainly a hydropower company.
