Xiangtan power station (大唐华银湘潭发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1800-megawatts (MW) in Shuangma, Yuetang, Xiangtan, Hunan, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Datang Xiangtan power station.

Background

Xiangtan power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,800 MW. The plant was completed between 1998 and 2007, and is owned by Datang.[1]
