Xingtai power station (河北建投邢台发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 600-megawatts (MW) in 1 Guanghua Road, Qiaoxi, Xingtai, Hebei, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 兴泰发电公司 (Phase III Unit 4, Phase III Unit 5, Phase IV Unit 6, Phase IV Unit 7, Phase V Unit 8, Phase V Unit 9), 邢台国泰发电公司; 河北建投兴泰发电厂 (Phase VI Unit 1, Phase VI Unit 2).

Background

Xingtai-2 power station is an two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 600 MW. The plant was completed between 2005 and 2006, and is owned by Hebei Construction & Investment Group. The original power station (Xingtai-1, 邢台发电厂) of nine units was retired between 2007-2015.[1][2][3]
