Background
The Irkutsk Oil Company started pumping oil into the Eastern Siberia–Pacific Ocean Oil Pipeline (ESPO) in early 2011. Hydrocarbon raw materials from the fields of the Irkutsk Oil Company group of companies are supplied through a network of interfield oil pipelines to oil treatment units located at the Yarakta and Ichedinskoye fields of the company. Then the prepared oil is transported to the Markovskoye PSP in the Ust-Kutsky district of the Irkutsk region - the connection point to PS No. 7 of the ESPO.[4]
