The pipeline would be operated and owned by the Chinese Petroleum Corporation (CPC).[1]
Recent annual reports from CPC note this 238-kilometer pipeline would be laid down in addition to an existing 238-kilometer, subsea pipeline connecting the same end points. Ultimately, these will be part of Taiwan's national pipeline network that consists of a terrestrial figure eight shape.[1]
