Ywama power station is an operating power station of at least 292-megawatts (MW) in Yangon, Myanmar with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Ywama New power station (Unit 1).

Background
In 2020, the Myanmar government approved plans to replace the existing power generation infrastructure at this power station with a 300 MW combined-cycle system.[16] The upgrade was expected to be completed by 2022, but has been delayed, with construction yet to start.[17]
