Background
China State Reserve Energy and Chemical Group and Fujian Zhangzhou Development Zone signed a cooperation agreement to develop Zhangzhou LNG Terminal on October 2020. [3]
The total investment was estimated at 6 billion yuan ($915 million). The receiving capacity will reach 3 mtpa, and the maximum daily gasification capacity will be 9.5 million cubic meters. [1]
By January 2024, there is no news about its progress. The project apparently is shelved.
