Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant (Алчевский металлургический комбинат (Russian)), also known as AMK, Alchevsk Iron & Steel plant, is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Alchevsk, Luhansk, Ukraine.

Background

Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant is located in the occupied Ukrainian territory, the Luhansk People's Republic. The plant is currently controlled by the Southern Mining and Metallurgical Complex (Russian: Южный горно-металлургический комплекс ЮГМК). Production levels are unknown. As of October 2024, three out of four blast furnaces and the two basic oxygen furnaces are operating.[1]
