Anadolu Group is a diversified Turkish company which has proposed the construction of the 1,200 megawatt coal-fired power station near Gerze in Sinop province, Turkey. See Gerze, Sinop Power Station for further details.
On its website the company states that it "aims to be a player in the electricity market and has started business activities, due to reasons that the electrical energy sector has become a distinguished sector in Turkey which is among the emerging markets in the World."[1]
