Anhui Changjiang Steel Co Ltd (龙山桥钢铁总厂, 安徽长江钢铁股份有限公司), also known as Longshanqiao Iron and Steel Plant (predecessor), is a steel plant in Dangtu, Ma'anshan, Anhui, China that operates blast furnace (BF), basic oxygen furnace (BOF), and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background

In 2019, a new 140-tonne electric furnace (with a production capacity of 1.1 million tons of billets) was built and put into operation in the end of 2021.[1] [2]A BF（450m3) and 2 BOFs(40-tonne) was demolished in 2021.[3]

In Apri 2023, the company's application for inter-provincial transfer of hazardous waste has been approved by the Anhui Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment. The approval allows the company to transfer 4,000 tons of electric furnace ash (HW23,312-001-23) to YES Metal Materials Co., Ltd. in Quzhou City for comprehensive utilization. The transfer is valid until December 31, 2023.[4]

The company's technological transformation of two 1,080 m3 BF into two 1,250m3 BF.[5]
