Baowu Group Echeng Iron and Steel Co Ltd (武汉钢铁集团鄂城钢铁有限责任公司, 宝武集团鄂城钢铁有限公司), also known as Wuhan Iron and Steel Group Echeng Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., is a steel plant in Ezhou, Hubei, China that operates blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) technology.

Background

According to the capacity replacement plan in February 2019 the company planed to build a 120-tonne basic oxygen furnace to replace two 35-tonne basic oxygen furnaces.[1] The two 35-tonne basic oxygen furnaces was demolished in September 2019.[2]
