Background
Chow Steel Industries Publlic Company Limited was established in 2003. The construction of the plant began in 2004 and began commercial production in 2005.[1] The company produces steel from scrap at its Kabinburi steel plant.[2] The plant operated at a capacity of 250 ttpa, which was expanded to 730 ttpa during Phase 2 expansions which became operational in 2008.[1][2]
