Colin Box is Project Manager of Newtech Energy, a small company proposing to construct a proposed brown coal briquetting plant in the Latrobe Valley in Victoria.[1]
Background
A biographical note states that[2]:
- "Colin’s background is in building construction industry with over 40 years of experience. He completed his studies in 1974 but has never stopped in improving his knowledge base. During his forty years within the building construction industry he has held senior project based management positions and has largely been involved in design and construct type projects, major commercial and government projects in Victoria, which also include major process related projects. In addition, he holds a license as an Unlimited Commercial Builder. Colin has the ability to plan and manage projects from design through to the final completion. His hands-on experience working directly with designers, multi discipline engineers (including process engineers) and specialised contractors are invaluable and it is this experiences that he has brought to Newtech Energy. Colin has worked for major contractors in Australian during his forty years, which include John Holland Constructions, Fletcher Constructions Australia, Multiplex Constructions, Bovis Lend Lease and Sunland Constructions. Colin has been involved in the development of the brown coal process production facility since its inception."
