Background
A biographical note on the Manallack website states that he "has a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) from Deakin University, with majors in Media Studies and Literature, a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing and has undertaken further professional development in public relations. He has previously volunteered to Melbourne community radio station PBS-FM and been a member of his local primary school council. David is also a published writer, having contributed to publications including The Age, the Green Guide, Melbourne’s Child and the Big Issue. His interests include family, music, reading, gardening and cycling. ."[3]
