Background

The company plans to construct a 1,280m³ blast furnace and a 130-ton BOF to replace the existing two 35-ton BOFs and two 35-ton electric furnaces of Hubei Dazhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. The 130-ton BOF project is expected to start construction in May 2023 and start production in May 2024. [1][2]

As of September 11, 2024, the project is in the approval stage and is expected to commence in Q2 of 2025.[3]

The infrastructure construction of the Jinhu Industrial Zone in the Daye Green Circular Industrial Park began in October 2023.[4]
