Daye Special Steel Co Ltd (大冶特殊钢有限公司(湖北新冶钢有限公司)), also known as Hubei Daye Special Steel Co., Ltd., is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) and electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant operating in Huangshi, Hubei, China.

Background
According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan, the company plans to build a 1280m3 blast furnace to eliminate 520m3 blast furnace.[1] The company will also build a new 50-ton electric furnace to eliminate two 20-ton electric furnaces, which are expected to be put into operation in 2024.[2]
