Background
The Delong Steel Group's Delong Steel Project in Indonesia, with an investment of 1.18 billion US dollars, has a Phase I steel production capacity of 4 million tons. Construction commenced in April 2018 and entered the production phase in April 2020. Currently, Phase I of Delong Steel is expanding to 7 million tons and is under construction, while the Delong Iron and Steel Group is planning an overseas steel project with a capacity of 20 million tons.[1]
