Background

This project is listed in ENTSOG's Ten-Year Network Development plan as a hydrogen-ready pipeline (HYD-N-416). It is also part of the European Hydrogen Backbone.

In April, 2022, the German Minister of Energy approved plans for an integrated hydrogen network that will supply green hydrogen to the Dorsten industrial cluster in Germany.
