Enbridge Mainline System is an oil pipeline system which transports crude oil and dilbit from Canada to the United States. The system in the U.S. is also known as the Lakehead System.[1]

Route

About 3,057 kilometres (1,900 miles) of the system is in the United States (also known as the Lakehead System), and runs from Neche, North Dakota to refineries in Chicago, Illinois.[1]

The remaining 2,306 kilometres (1,433 miles) is in Canada (the Canadian Mainline), and runs from oil sands fields in Edmonton, Alberta through Manitoba and Ontario to Montreal, Quebec.[1]
