Ezz Flat Steel Ain Sokhna plant (العز لصناعة الصلب المسطح, حديد عز), also known as EFS, is a steel plant in Ain Sokhna, Suez, Egypt that operates direct reduced iron (DRI) and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background

The Ezz Flat Steel Ain Sokhna plant started operating in 1998. In May 2023, the plant announced the operation of its second Electric Arc Furnace.[1] This expansion will added a range of 1.6 million tonnes to the company's capacity. [2]
