Ezz Flat Steel Ain Sokhna plant (حديد عز (Arabic)), also known as EFS, is a direct reduced iron-electric arc furnace (DRI-EAF) steel plant operating in Ain Sokhna, Suez, Egypt.

Background

The Ezz Flat Steel Ain Sokhna plant started operating in 1998. In May 2023, the plant announced the operation of its second Electric Arc Furnace.[1] This expansion will added a range of 1.6 million tonnes to the company's capacity. [2]
