Faizan Steel S.I.T.E steel plant began in 1997 as a rolling mill that produced 25 metric tonnes per day of cold twisted bars for construction purposes. In 2010 the plant acquired and installed a European standard induction furnace. The capacity of the plant was eventually increased to 1000 metric tonnes per day by 2020. The company planned to enhance its productivity to 1500 metric tonnes per day by 2024.[1]
