Fujian Yixin Steel Co Ltd (福建亿鑫钢铁有限公司) is a steel plant in Fuzhou, Fujian, China that operates blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) technology.

Background
According to the announcement of capacity replacement in December 2019, the company plans to build a 1200m3 blast furnace and a 100-ton basic oxygen furnace.[1]
On approximately 19:00, March 21, 2020, an industrial safety accident occurred at the No. 2 Blast Furnace of Fujian Yixin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. during an inspection and maintenance period. One worker was fatally injured and killed as a result of being crushed and buried by the falling burden inside the furnace.[2]
As of Nov 2024, there have been no updates for the constructions of equipment. The existing equipment, including a 450m3 blast furnace and two 45-ton basic oxygen furnace, is still in operation. These facilities have been included in the list of steel and iron smelting enterprises in Fujian Province eligible for differential electricity pricing in 2023.[3]
The company is currently promoting the implementation of a 500,000-ton industrial silicon project in Ulat Qianqi.[4]
