History
Fujian, China’s southeastern coastal province has emerged as a major transferring center to import Jiangxi and other inland provinces. From January to October in 2011, Fujian has imported 11.58 million tones of coal 13.2% of which or 1.53 million tonnes was transferred from Quanzhou and Fuzhou ports to power plants at Jiangxi province. The region is 123,100 square km (47,500 square miles.) It has a population of 36,894,216 as of 2010 census. [1]
