Fushun New Steel Co Ltd (抚顺新钢铁有限责任公司) is a steel plant in Wanghua, Fushun, Liaoning, China that operates blast furnace (BF), basic oxygen furnace (BOF), and ironmaking technology.

Background
According to the announcement of capacity replacement in July 2019, the company plans to replace existing BOFs with two 120-tonne BOFs. [1] #1 BOF was put into operation in April 2022.[2] Another 120-tonne BOF was put into operation in January 2023.[3]
According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan in November 2021, the company planned to build two 1200m3 blast furnaces and one HIsmelt smelting reduction furnace. One blast furnace is expected to be put into operation in 2024, and the other is expected to be put into operation in 2025. The smelting reduction furnace is expected to be put into operation in 2025. [4] The capacity swap plan changed to build two 1400m3 blast furnaces in May 2024.[5]
