Background

The company is executing its 8-million-ton capacity plan in phases, constructing Phase I (Furnace No. 1), Phase II-A (Furnace No. 2), and Phase II-B (Furnace No. 3). Phase I, which includes the 150-ton electric furnace (Furnace No. 1 with a capacity of 1.2 million tons) and its supporting rolling production line, was fully completed and began production in December 2021. Phase II-A (Furnace No. 2) completed construction and debugging in August 2022, becoming production-ready by November 2022[1]. Phase II-B (Furnace No. 3) is currently under construction in 2023.[2]
