Background
According to the announcement of the capacity swap plan in January 2023, the company plans to build a 2050m3 blast furnace and phase out the existing 530m3 and 1080m3 blast furnaces. The project is expected to be put into operation in 2025.[1]
In June 2024, the company adjusted its ironmaking capacity swap plan, opting to construct a 1490m3 blast furnace instead of the originally planned 2050m3 blast furnace.[2]
