Background

The company plans to start the construction of a 100-ton EAF with a production capacity of 750,000 tons. The project is scheduled to commence in July 2023 and is expected to be put into operation by December 2023.^[1]

On June 27, 2023, the company completed its registration change procedures with the Market Supervision Administration in Babu District, Hezhou City. Its original name, Hezhou Zhaoxin Hardware Products Company Limited, was officially changed to Guangxi Guixin Steel Manufacturing Co Ltd.^[2]

The EAF project passed its environmental protection completion acceptance in 2024.^[3]
