Background

The second phase of the technical renovation project started in March 2021. It is planned to build 2 BF (2×1770m3) and 4 BOF (3×150t, 1×148t), and demolish 2×450m3+2×600m3 BF (iron capacity of 3 million tons) and 2×60t BOF (steel capacity of 2.1 million tons) + 3×80t BOF (steel capacity of 3.9 million tons).[1][2][3][4]
