Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical Co Ltd (广西盛隆冶金有限公司), also known as Guangxi Wanxin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Fangchenggang, Guangxi, China.

Background

The first phase of the company's industrial upgrading and technological transformation project of 2×1680m3 BF and 2×150t BOF has been completed in 2019. [1]

The second stage will change the originally planned 2×1770m3 blast furnace into 2×2725m3 BF, 3*150t BOF and 1*148t BOF, which have all been completed and put into production in 2023.[2]

In July of 2024,the company acquired 1.2 million tons of steel production capacity from two 60-ton electric arc furnaces of Shaanxi Huaxin Special Steel Group Co., Ltd., for BOF technology upgrade and expansion project.[3]
