Hangang Longshan Iron and Steel Co Ltd (邯钢龙山钢铁有限公司) is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Handan, Hebei, China.

Background
Hesteel Group Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. plant relocated to Shexian County, and the new name is Hangang Longshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.[1]
The Handan Steel New District covers an area of over 5,000 acres. Since the project[2] commenced construction in November 2020, it has been carried out in two phases. The first phase, including Blast Furnace No. 1 for ironmaking and the medium plate production line, was successfully put into operation in December of 2022. [3]The second phase, which includes a 3,700 m³ blast furnace, a 250-ton converter, a 1,780 mm hot-rolled production line, and supporting auxiliary facilities, was completed on June 6 of this year, achieving full production at Handan Steel New District.[4][5]
