Background

Hwanyoung Steel Ind. Co., Ltd. was founded in 1977. The construction of the Dangjin Plant was completed in 1993. It consist of a scrap-based 100-ton DC electric arc furnace and has an annual operating capacity of 800 thousand tonnes.
