Hebei Donghai Special Steel Co Ltd (河北东海特钢集团有限公司), also known as Tangshan Donghai Iron and Steel Group Special Steel Co., Ltd., is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Tangshan, Hebei, China.

Background

The environmental impact assessment document for the upgrade and transformation project of four 180-square-meter sintering machines has been approved for changes in construction. The project involves the elimination of the existing two (No. 2 and No. 4) 180-square-meter old belt sintering machines and their associated systems. In their place, a new 360-square-meter modern belt sintering machine will be constructed on the original site of the No. 1 and No. 2 180-square-meter sintering machines. The No. 1 sintering machine will be separately recorded, and the No. 3 sintering machine will no longer undergo any modifications. It is understood that the total investment in this project is 400 million RMB.[1]
