Hebei Rongxin Steel Co Ltd (河北荣信钢铁有限公司), also known as Hebei Iron and Steel Group Rongxin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.; Tangshan Great Wall Iron and Steel Group Rongxin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.; Qian'an Rongxin Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Tangshan, Hebei, China.

Background

The proposed capacity swap project plans to build one BF(1x1500m3) and two BOF (2x100-tonne), with an ironmaking capacity of 1.3 million tons and a steelmaking capacity of 2.3 million tons. The project has put into operation in June 2023.[1] The environmental impact assessment report was approved in November 2021.[2]

In 2024, the company announced plans for new capacity swap, including the construction of one 1,350 m³ blast furnace and one 1,770 m³ blast furnace.[3]
