Background
The company was included in the list of steel standard enterprises to be rectified due to safety issues. On November 1, 2019, the Office of the State Council Security Committee (Security Committee Office Mingdian [2019] No. 18) notified: A fire accident occurred in the belt corridor of the company's sintering workshop, causing 7 deaths.[1]
2*550m3 BF and 2*50t BOF will be taken out of production before the commissioning of the new project at Jinan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. plant。[2]
